British stand-up, writer and actress Jen Brister has announced her debut headline tour of Australia and New Zealand set for later this year - bringing her brand new ‘Reactive’ show to audiences in Wellington, Auckland, Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Melbourne & Perth from May 20th. 

Jen has played a few one off shows in the region previously, but is making a return with her first fully fledged headline tour in Australia and New Zealand after over a decade between visits. 

“I can't wait to be back performing in Australia after an 11 year hiatus. I'm also very excited for my debut shows in NZ - this will be my very first tour down under and I'm expecting great things!”

After an extended 115 date sell-out 2022/23 UK tour, and ensuing sold-out debut tour of the USA in 2024, Jen is back on the road with her highly anticipated new show ‘Reactive’; a show that reflects Jen’s hilarious perception of the world, as she finds herself in a constant state of exacerbation at life and people in general. Jen comments that fans can “expect a heavy dose of jetlag mixed with my very 'on brand' joie de vivre.”

Jen will be launching the new show in Australia and New Zealand, before taking it all around the UK throughout 2025 and 2026 - playing in her biggest venues yet  including London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian and writer who has been seen on BBC's Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle's New World Order, The Weakest Link, QI and Mock the Week. She is a regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits and has written 7 solo shows which she has performed at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival and toured extensively around the UK and Internationally. Her book, a comedy memoir, "The Other Mother" was published by Square Peg in 2019.
