Renowned UK alt-rockers Kasabian have announced their highly anticipated return to Australian shores. Performing down under for the first time in a decade, they’ll be bringing their distinct brand of electro-rock to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane joined by special guests Blossoms.

Known for their cult listening catalogue featuring swarm of hits like “Fire”, “Underdog”, “Shoot The Runner”, “You’re in Love with a Psycho” and “Clubfoot”, Kasabian’s legion of fans will experience a career spanning set for the ages!

Electrifying in their live performances, Kasabian’s infectious high-energy and guitar anthems will have audiences down under hypnotised, with The Guardian calling them, “A fearsome live act.” Coming off a barnstorming set at Glastonbury Kasabian will have crowds roaring in Melbourne at The Forum before playing a tremendous set at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, then capping off the tour in Brisbane at the Fortitude Music Hall.

Forming in 1997 in Leicester UK, Kasabian are one of the biggest names in British alternative rock. With 6 UK number one albums under their belt, the band have sold over 5.5 million albums worldwide and won multiple NME Awards, Q Awards and a BRIT Award. Impressing fans all over the world with their live shows and festival performances, Kasabian have also headlined Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festival, V Festival and T In The Park.

Launching onto the scene in 2004 with their debut album Kasabian, the rockers have since released seven more studio albums to great acclaim, including Empire (2006), West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009), Velociraptor! (2011), 48:13 (2014), For Crying Out Loud (2017), The Alchemist's Euphoria (2022) and their brand new album released in July this year, Happenings.

Selling more than 100,000 live tickets this year, UK indie pop pioneers Blossoms will be jumping on as support. With five studio albums under their belt, four of them reaching Number 1 on the UK charts, the band continue to garner plenty of love with admired gems “Charlemagne”,“There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls”, “Your Girlfriend” and “How Long Will It Last?”. Landing on the scene in 2016, the band quickly made a name for themselves after winning a BRIT Award for their debut album Blossoms along with multiple Mercury Prize nominations.

Currently touring the UK with their Number 1 charting new album Gary, Blossoms are ready to bring the magic of their live shows to Australian fans, with The Guardian describing their sets as ‘funky indie-pop singalongs which send the crowd wild’.
